INDEX
DAY 1/2: Alghero, La Pelosa and Castelsardo
Starting from Alghero, it is of absolute importance to visit not only the Catalan town, a beautiful historic center , but also the outline present in that area from Capo Caccia to Stintino . The itinerary we recommend is a route that goes from the north for about 45 km, you will have the opportunity to see some of the most beautiful beaches like in the area hospital , some natural pools present in the coastal coast, small beaches along the road up to one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean: La Pelosa.
It will take you a couple of days, even having time, possibly, to do some activities in case of favorable weather conditions such as surfing, kite surfing, wind surfing since the west and north west are the most exposed to the wind that dominates the island, the mistral. Alghero is a beautiful city, visiting its historic center and discovering the magnificent Catalan influence will be of enormous value. The small village of Castelsardo , about 1 hour from Alghero and located along the north coast. This is our base, from here start some magnificent trips by land branded Travel Planner Family, between nature, hinterland, food and wine, tradition and history: contact us or visit the pageExcursions in Alghero

DAY 3: Archipelago of La Maddalena
The Archipelago of La Maddalena is undoubtedly considered one of the most evocative landscapes not only of Sardinia but of the whole Mediterranean Sea. Impossible not to include this magnificent place in your itinerary in Sardinia, between the intense scents of the Mediterranean scrub and the incredible transparency of the sea. The Archipelago of La Maddalena is a magical place . Only a dip in the crystal clear waters and a walk on the fine white sand can make you understand the amazing beauty that this corner of Sardinia offers to the visitor. There is so much to see in this area and we recommend that you experience it through a full day boat excursion. Also worth a visit is the town with the port of departure for the archipelago, namely Palau among typical seafood dishes and murals in the historic center.
Points of Interest in the area:
La Maddalena

DAY 4: Gulf of Orosei
A paradise, perhaps the paradise par excellence and a must in Eastern Sardinia. The Gulf of Orosei has a coastal extension of over 40 km in which beaches of fine sand and rocky inlets alternate, dominated by imposing limestone bastions covered by luxuriant Mediterranean scrub and centuries-old woods. A breathtaking panorama, seen through an on the road itinerary and in which the green of the vegetation contrasts with the crystalline blue of the waters below, is a picture of rare beauty. We recommend an excursion by boat in the morning and then dedicate yourself to visiting some magnificent villages in the hinterland, including Supramonte , canti a tenore and typical gastronomy.
Points of Interest in the area:
Beaches of the Gulf of Orosei
On Gologone
Orgosolo and Mamoiada
Tiscali and Su Gorroppu
Take a 2 minute break and imagine your holiday in Sardinia .....
Those who stop in Villasimius usually do so to visit the neighboring beaches. The whole coastal area is a set of colors that intertwine giving life to real travel postcards . The beaches are truly terrestrial paradises, with clear and polychromatic waters, granite rocks, white sands with lagoons behind them, Villasimius is worth seeing, exploring, living.
Beyond the coastal area of Villasimius , a visit to the most important city in Sardinia is worth considering for many points of view. First of all it is the university and archiepiscopal seat, a city with a thousand-year history, the historical administrative center of the island and its tourist port is of fundamental importance since it carries out tourist, commercial and industrial functions. Without a doubt, between the historic center and the magnificent park of Molentargius , Cagliari wins a day's visit during your 10-day itinerary.
Points of Interest in the area:
Porto Giunco beach
Punta molentis beach
Cala Sinzias
Capo Carbonara

DAY 7/8: Islands of San Pietro and Sant'Antioco
The Island of San Pietro is of clear volcanic origin with high, rocky coasts and which hides fantastic inlets with sandy parts. The Sardinian coast that goes from Portoscuso (a small port city that connects Carloforte on the island of San Pietro with Sardinia via ferries and boats) to the north is very rich. History, wild nature and places in some ways unexplored by mass tourism.
At least one day must be dedicated to the beautiful island of Sant'Antioco , connected to Sardinia by an artificial isthmus. Archaeological sites, both for some beautiful beaches and above all for the relaxed and happy air that reigns throughout the territory. It lives through the resources of fishing, salt and agriculture and is represented through the main town, Sant'Antioco. The villages of Calasetta, Maladroxia and Cussorgia are also magnificent and nearby also splendid viewpoints of the 2 uninhabited islets, Toro and Vacca. To be included in your 10-day itinerary in Sardinia.
Points of Interest in the area:

DAY 9: Sinis Peninsula
Exploring the Sinis Peninsula means including in your 10-day itinerary in Sardinia extraordinary experiences in a land rich in history and art, with a totally unspoiled landscape. Here the sea really merges with the sky. A paradise recognized by the European Commission as an "Eden" destination, where the land and lake environment blends perfectly with white sandy beaches and turquoise water. A day to dedicate to this beautiful place.
Points of Interest in the area:
Tharros
Is Aruttas beach
Cabras Lake
Capo Mannu
DAY 10: Bosa
The only navigable river in Sardinia that passes in the middle, the low houses of the tannery on one side, the medieval quarter on the other. The whole is dominated by a castle positioned on a hill. Welcome to Bosa, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. and to be safely included in your 10-day itinerary in Sardinia . The Planargia , that is the sub-region in which Bosa is located, is a corner of the island little touched by large mass tourist flows. Keeping its physiognomy, maintaining authenticity and simplicity , exploring this whole area will enrich your trip, making it truly authentic.
