Excursion to Alghero - Food & Nature
DESCRIPTION
Why choose the excursion from Alghero Food & Nature? We will take a simple walk in the splendid nature of Sardinia, between stops and breathtaking viewpoints. Later we will be hosted by a family of shepherds, in their home, where we will put our "hands in the dough" in the true sense of the word. We will discover the gastronomic traditions by assisting and participating in the production of some typical delights, directly from the "masters". Our "creations" will also be lunch , included, in a festive context among the local people. It's not over, we will also meet a local craftsman and his ancient craft. It will not be a simple excursion, it will be a life experience.
ITINERARY
- 08: 15/08: 30: Pick up at your accommodation in Alghero.
- 09:30: We will admire the nature of Sardinia, with a splendid walk between panoramic points and uncontaminated environment.
- 11:00: We enter the home of a local family. It will be time to "get your hands on" with the explanations, stories and legends that only a family of shepherds can know. Our creations will also be lunch, between laughter and exchanges of unique emotions.
- 14:00: We will also meet a local craftsman with an explanation of his ancient craft, between art and local tradition. (The craftsman and therefore the profession changes from time to time, between weaving, "Filet di Bosa" and ceramic and carpet manufacturing).
- 16:30: Return to Alghero
